This is a different plane but shows carbon tube construction etc.

Hyperion 130 ma, weight 7.5 grams

Central tube of 6 mm, wall thickness 0.1 mm made of carbon-coated metalized Mylar 3 microns  (Not used on this Relax Plane)

Relax has hand-made carbon tube .1mm walls.
Weight of the aircraft without the Mylar 31 grams, with Mylar and painting 36 grams.

Carbon tube made of a single layer of fabric 0,1 mm.
Is it handmade
Weight 2 grams.

The tube is made in the inner matrix.
Pressure of 10 kg/m2.
This is a very complicated technology.
I advise to look for a sale.
For the construction of the propeller, I use matrix.
The propeller consists of 4 layers of carbon fabric thickness of 0.1 mm.

I often should change design of this model as I am constantly dissatisfied with its flight. The main thing for me - high rigidity and stability to blows, absence of ageing. I not so the good pilot and model crash happen.

 

Sharpie Permanent Marker - Ink is based on propanol, butanol and diacetone alcohols.

       I publish Metro Area R/C Flying to make a central web site for all the area R/C clubs, not to replace individual club sites, but to tie all of them together and promote growth and interaction between clubs. The most important service of the web site is to post the Metro Area Schedule. The schedule lists all the events for all the clubs in one location so that R/C flyers can see what events are available in the area and plan ahead. I believe it will also help the area clubs to work out their schedules so that one clubs events, will not conflict, with another's. The next most important service is to provide a Map Page that has maps to all the events, meetings, dinners and parties. Right after that comes the Newsletter Page which lists all of the different club newsletters. Reading other club newsletters lets members see what others are offering in the area that they are interested in and promotes interaction between clubs. Perhaps an even more important item is the New Flyers Page that gives new members information they need to join a club and become part of our R/C community.
