It looks like the weekend is going to be rough.  I am moving my Fun Fly to October 6th to try for better weather.

Gates open at 9:00 am

No Landing Fee

 

Frequency board will not be used. (no Impound)

Free pizza and pop while it lasts, starting at 1:30 PM.

Scale, Sport, Twins, 3D, or whatever participants are ready to fly.

Contact me about requests for special events and I will plan a time slot, if needed; otherwise, it will be open flying.

Introductory flights for guests will be offered with our trainers.

Any donations will go to the Lincoln Sky Knights' general budget.

 

Visitors welcome.  AMA required to fly, but not required to be a spectator.

 

Sky Knights Field has two 450’ by 40’ runways, one paved, one grass.

 

  NO FLYING OVER PIT AREA, PARKING LOT, OR SPECTATORS

 

Bring a jug of drinking water and a lawn chair

      I publish Metro Area R/C Flying to make a central web site for all the area R/C clubs, not to replace individual club sites, but to tie all of them together and promote growth and interaction between clubs. The most important service of the web site is to post the Metro Area Schedule. The schedule lists all the events for all the clubs in one location so that R/C flyers can see what events are available in the area and plan ahead. I believe it will also help the area clubs to work out their schedules so that a club event, will not conflict, with another club's event. The next most important service is to provide a Page that has maps to all the events, meetings, dinners and parties. Right after that comes the Newsletter Page which lists club newsletters.
