Cobras Meeting

Hello Cobras RC Club Members!

After much searching, Anne has been able to find a new venue for the Monthly Cobras RC Club meetings - starting this Wed, 3rd October. Apple Barrel is no longer offering their room.

We have booked the back room at PIZZA RANCH, at Metro Crossing, Council Bluffs. Gather to eat at 6pm onwards. Meeting starts 7pm. Ends around 8pm- 8:30pm.

This is an All You Can Eat restaurant.

PLEASE NOTE:  Use of the room requires attendees to pay around $12 per person, which includes all the food, coffee, etc.  (The food selection should be wider at Pizza Ranch, and there is no limit on how much you can have so it probably works out better value).

Due to Covid concerns, Phil is also setting up the online link so you can join the meeting at home or anywhere you can log in. Phil will send out the WebEx link details and we (Keith) will hopefully set up a Wi-Fi link in the Pizza Ranch Meeting Room.

We should be able to use the meeting room every 1st Wed of the month (except special occasions) providing there are enough members present and eating, so please come along and enjoy a monthly get-together.

Note that you can bring along your friends and partners to eat too.  And a reminder to avoid chatting during the actual meeting.

We have several new members and I may not have the the correct email addresses, so please spread the word about the meeting and email or text me (712 326 4234) and corrections or missing email addresses.

Thanks and we look forward to seeing you all at the meeting - in person or online.

Kevin

I publish Metro Area R/C Flying to make a central web site for all the area R/C clubs, not to replace individual club sites, but to tie all of them together and promote growth and interaction between clubs. The most important service of the web site is to post the Metro Area Schedule. The schedule lists all the events for all the clubs in one location so that R/C flyers can see what events are available in the area and plan ahead. I believe it will also help the area clubs to work out their schedules so that a club event, will not conflict, with another club's event. The next most important service is to provide a Page that has maps to all the events, meetings, dinners and parties. Right after that comes the Newsletter Page which lists club newsletters. Reading other club newsletters lets members see what others are offering in the area that they are interested in and promotes interaction between clubs.  This is your web site, if you would like to show-off your newest plane, or share an experience, you can E-Mail pictures and articles to me at: MetroRCFlying@Gmail.com  There’s an Email Link on every page.
